Watched by an estimated 600 shoppers and fans at the Mall, Brabus United, who had earlier defeated Ampang Unity FC 5-4 on penalties in the semi-finals, led 9-1 at the interval, scoring four two-pointer goals while Dani FC replied with a single–pointer goal. Dani FC, however, clawed back in a thrilling second–half encounter to close the gap but failed to turn the tables on their superior opponent due to poor finishing.
