Magnum introduces its latest product innovation; Magnum Gold?! The world’s first golden ice cream – A luxurious soft Vanilla ice cream with Sea–salt Caramel sauce, covered in Belgian Chocolate and double coated with gold Belgian Chocolate. This premium selection was introduced during an exclusive black tie event where the Magnum Gold Ice-cream was held in a highly secured golden vault being the target of “The Greatest Heist in History”.

The audience was welcomed by the beautiful Andrea Fonseka, Miss Malaysia Universe 2004 the emcee for the night. They were entertained by “The Heist Anthem” a unique interpretation of Adele’s 007 theme song “Skyfall” sung by Jazz Diva Isabella Soliano. The performance ended with the high note of DJ Patricia K’s Soulful House beats to the song creating a momentum of an elegant gala and the funkiest party feel, a truly unique experience to the opening of the lovely evening.
The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of Magnum Gold, leaving guests alarmed with what was perceived as a staged heist turned “The Greatest Heist in History”- a launch gambit to introduce Magnum Gold.
As Magnum’s leading man – Herry Budiazhari – was about to introduce Magnum Gold, he was held hostage by a group of thieves in an attempt to rob the golden ice cream which was safely guarded inside the Golden Vault.
As a brand known for its exciting launches and parties tailored to the unique experience of each product innovation, Magnum Gold’s limited edition positioning was completed in a true Hollywood blockbuster experience. This was epitomized with the appearance of International movie actress Caroline Correa to launch the Magnum Gold ice-cream, stunningly draped in 24-carot Magnum Gold couture.
The irresistible decadence of Magnum Gold featured the international actress’ dazzling gown which made its debut in the International Magnum Gold’s TV commercial which was directed by BAFTA Award winner; – Bryan Singer and starred Benicio Del Toro and Caroline Correa.

The evening ended with guests enjoying their first bite of the cracking golden Belgian chocolate of Magnum Gold, a personalized golden dessert experience; while being entertained by an intimate Jazz performance by Isabella Soliano. The party continued with Patricia K’s unique soulful house remixes.
Magnum Gold is now available at all leading supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores, and petrol marts. They are available in impulse version (single stick) suggested retailed price of RM 4.50 or a multipack of 3 at a suggested retail price of RM13.50.
