Selangor, 21st May 2024 – Standing tall and mighty, Boon Siew Honda introduces the Honda XL750 Transalp earlier today, build for the brave souls, thrill-seeker, and mountain conqueror. Powered by a 755cc, parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled OHC four-stroke, Unicam eight-valve engine with 270° crank, the XL750 Transalp is perfect for an extended touring trip as well as the urban cut and thrust.

Built to be a brilliant all-rounder, this adventure concept bike has 4 levels of Engine Power (EP) that produces 67.5kW @ 9,500rpm top power accompanied by mountains of usable torque in the low to mid rpm range, rising to a peak of 75Nm @ 7,250rpm.
This eight-valve Unicam unit has a bore and stroke set at 87 x 63.5mm, with compression ratio of 11.0:1, added with the refined settings of the Throttle By Wire (TBW) system that offers multiple riding modes that fulfill both ease of handling over short everyday distances and comfort when driving long distances on holidays and at high speeds.
Shift between SPORT, STANDARD, RAIN, GRAVEL mode to navigate journey where each mode has its own preset settings that suits each ride conditions. There is also a specific USER mode that allows the rider to fine tune their own personal settings where each mode delivers different engine performance to suit the riding conditions. It is conveniently ready to be switched on or off and managed between the left handlebar mode and TFT Screen.
Additionally, with assist/slipper™ clutch – with F.C.C Leaning Segment (FLS) discs – to reduce the operation load of the clutch lever as well as a slipper function to mitigate impacts from rapid engine braking and reduces clutch drag torque by 30%, for a lighter lever load and easier up shifts. It also manages rear wheel hop under hard braking and rapid down changes.
Complementing its engine is the 21/18-inch front rear, stainless steel, spoked wheels wear (tubed) 90/90-21 and 150/70-18 tires; Metzeler Karoo Street or Dunlop Mixtour strengthened by 5 levels of Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), 2 levels of Anti-Locking Braking System (ABS) and 3 levels of Engine Brake (EB) with dual piston calipers.
These familiar Honda technology are diligent at identifying slip ratios and synchronizing it with the front tires, catching sudden brakes by avoiding skidding and informing others upon emergency stops all to ensure our riders’ confidence is our top priority.
This powerhouse, high-tech engine is packed in an adventure style, aerodynamic build matched with a rear carrier fitted as standard in a lightweight steel diamond mainframe and an integrated heavy-duty subframe which employs high-tension steel pipework for strength and toughness.
The steel diamond-style main frame is light and integrates a sturdy rear subframe to support long-range touring loads. Its Showa 43mm SFF-CATM (Separate Function Fork-Cartridge) USD forks offer 200mm travel with spring preload adjustment, and mount by a forged aluminum bottom yoke and cast aluminum top yoke ensures steering precision, while the aluminum swingarm operates through Pro-Link for supple control, for a perfect balance of strength and rigidity in wide-ranging riding situations.

The new Transalp enlightens riders’ journey with its full LED lighting in the front and rear. Its indicators are programmed with auto signal cancellation boosts riders’ efficiency and the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) helps warn other road users of sudden braking.
Getting on this high-performance bike with a practical seat height at 850mm, riders stay connected with Honda Smartphone Voice Control (HSVC) system through Honda RoadSync app even while slicing through greeneries or kicking up dust on rough tracks.
