“I am extremely happy to be part of Delifrance Malaysia’s 30th Anniversary celebration. This year also marks my 30th anniversary with the company which makes this occasion an even more meaningful one,” said Jean Manuel.

“While Delifrance takes pride in its rich French heritage, we are also committed to paving the way forward especially in delivering the best to our customers. This dedication goes beyond our superior food quality, but is also seen in our excellent service and feel of our stores,” he added.

“We pride ourselves on delivering French and fresh quality dishes for all Malaysian consumers to impart the joyous French culture and the pleasure of French living.”

“In line with the 30th Anniversary celebrations, we have introduced the Le Café Gourmand concept of eating that spreads a love and passion for the art of French living. A heavenly alliance of coffee and sweets, it comprises an artistic display of ‘bite size’ desserts – a macaroon, mini tarts and mini chouquettes – served with coffee. It’s the perfect way to cap off lunch, and carry on with your day.”

“In addition to Le Café Gourmand, we’re taking this opportunity to highlight our Mini Butter Croissant that only uses fine French butter for maximum customer enjoyment and the Croque Monsieur which is an authentic French favourite with Viennese bread, béchamel sauce, chicken slice and cheddar cheese – one of my personal favourites!” Jean Manuel said excitedly.

One of the most notable difference pre-rebranding is the signage of the brand name itself. Previously featuring the blue, white and red colours of the French flag, it now features a more contemporary colour that befits the modern times.

“Apart from these great new additions and changes, Delifrance will also be running an anniversary contest to give consumers a chance to experience the French art of living for themselves! All you have to do is spend RM25 at any of our outlets, and stand a chance to win a trip to Paris for two, plus a full day French baking class,” he said.

Since the first Delifrance store launched in Kuala Lumpur in 1990, the brand has now over 12 outlets across the country, with several location in line to be launched this year.

“Our Malaysian market is one of the strongest in the region, and we expect to continue to grow here,” Jean Manuel said. He added that there were some plans in the pipeline for the Malaysian market that would be unveiled in the near future.
