Malaysia’s first naturopathic academy, Natural Health Naturopathic Academy held the convocation for the class of 2016, and at the same time celebrated the school’s ten year anniversary with hundreds of graduates.
In her speech, vice-principal of Natural Health Naturopathic Academy Dr. Rebecca Tiew stated that the academy’s founder Dr. Jessie Chung is the first person in Malaysia to establish a naturopathic academy and naturopathic clinic. For the last ten years, Dr. Jessie Chung fought for the advancement of naturopathy, to help more people regain their health. All these years, Dr. Jessie Chung spared no effort to raise the bar of naturopathic education in Malaysia. Besides providing courses in Diploma in Diet & Nutrition and Bachelor’s Degree, Natural Health Naturopathic Academy also has recently teamed up with Universiti Putra Malaysia to provide students with a course in Executive Bachelor in Diet & Nutrition. The academy has recently gone international, successfully setting up a sister academy in the U.S. Besides that, the academy has also been certified and accepted as an HRDF Training Provider.
During his speech, Prof. Dr. Azlizam Bin Aziz of UPM stated that he is very happy to witness that naturopathy has established itself as an irreplaceable component in the medical community. He also recommended for Dr. Jessie Chung to conduct research on cancer and detoxification at Universiti Putra Malaysia. “A few days ago I saw an article, it was called: A World Without Cancer, and it really touched me deeply. The author advocated naturopathy in the article, and I believe that the future is bright for naturopathy.”
After presenting the certificates to the graduates, academy founder Dr. Jessie Chung appeared on stage to everyone’s surprise and shared her latest research results. She stated that she has successfully used naturopathy to detoxify cobra venom. She recounted a story where a dog who was bitten and poisoned by a cobra lost consciousness and began frothing at its mouth. After using naturopathic methods to treat the dog, it recovered after half an hour. Besides telling her past experiences, Dr. Chung also gave the graduates a final lecture at the convocation, sharing with them the most fundamental secrets to staying young and extending life.
As the convocation came to an end, Dr. Jessie Chung performed “Love is Coming Home”, a song from her most recent album to urge everyone to love the planet and protect the environment at the same time.
