Continuing its momentum hot off the launch of its fifth Brand House in IOI City Mall Putrajaya, Under Armour has expanded its footprint to East Malaysia. Sports enthusiasts can now purchase Under Armour products in their first Shop in Shop concept in LEA Sports Centre in Sarawak Plaza, Kuching, Sarawak. The US-based brand, renowned for its high performance footwear and apparel, distributes its products in Malaysia through an exclusive partnership with Triple Pte. Ltd.
“Measuring 1,000 square feet in total, the opening of the Under Armour Shop in Shop in LEA Sports Centre, Sarawak Plaza comes as a natural step towards the marque’s overall expansion within Malaysia, especially in the East,” said Michael Binger, Chief Executive Officer of Triple Pte. Ltd. “We have had many requests to expand to East Malaysia, and as part of our plan to increase our presence throughout the country, this is normal progression for us as we soft launch our very first Shop in Shop concept in Kuching.”

The FW2015 collection includes exclusive innovations such as the HeatGear® Sonic Compression, HeatGear® Flyweight, ColdBlack®, ColdGear®, UA Storm, UA Tech™. HeatGear® ArmourVent™, a training apparel technology platform will also be made available for both men and women. The UA Studio & UA StudioLux® lines, which are also available, are designed for female athletes such as brand ambassador and American Ballet Theater principal dancer Misty Copeland.
