Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — ZONTES is thrilled to introduce the new launch of its latest model in Malaysia: the ZONTES 368G Adventure Scooter. The ZONTES 368G is available at authorised dealers across Malaysia, with a basic selling price of RM28,800. This state-of-the-art, versatile two-wheeler can perform as a scooter for daily commutes and an adventure bike for light off-roading.
Scooter enthusiasts can rejoice with three colour options: Iron Grey with Blue, White with Gold, and Golden Stone Green, which makes a bold fashion statement on the streets. The ZONTES 368G comes with a large 17.5 L fuel tank, which is larger than the average scooter, and a mileage of 3.5 L/100 km. Such a large fuel capacity permits riders to travel up to 500 km on one full tank. Powered by a single-cylinder engine measured at 368 cc, it generates an imposing 28.5 kW of power and 40 Nm of torque, which is capable of urban rides and smooth acceleration. Riders have a choice to interchange between sports and eco mode, providing a seamless transition between experiencing a dynamic ride and optimising energy conservation.
On top of those, this scooter is equipped with an 8-inch TFT LCD Screen display for riders to access scooter information and real-time updates through a simple and clutter-free interface. Four themes are available for owners to customise based on their preferences. This display screen supports connection to the owner’s smart devices and helmet intercom. On chillier days, riders can warm up their hands through the handle grip heat. It also offers a large seat setting with a comfortable sofalike cushion and a 52 L storage space that can encase two helmets. With three water-resistant Type-C charging ports, riders can charge their devices during the journey, even when there is a drizzle. The dual-purpose tyre is engineered to tackle city asphalts or unpaved surfaces without breaking a sweat. Similar to the other ZONTES scooters in Malaysia, owners can operate the ZONTES 368G via the ZONTES Intelligent App, which provides integrated services such as vehicle control, vehicle information, and riding history.
The ZONTES 368G adopts an array of safety features to ensure riders can feel protected everywhere they go. The robust Spanish J.Juan Four Piston Radial Caliper can achieve a stable and smooth brake and a short braking distance, while the upside-down adjustable shock absorber dampens vibrations and controls the bike’s stability when overcoming rugged terrain. One of the special features of this scooter is the front and rear dual HD driving recorder that can document live footage of the journey on the road while assuring the rider’s ultimate safety. Other safety components for this scooter include a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that reports real-time tire-pressure information to the rider using either a gauge, a pictogram display, or a simple low-pressure warning light, a Traction Control System (TCS), which can be turned off to maintain traction on the road, and a switchable dualchannel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) for different riding purposes.
