Fonterra Food services Malaysia has recently launched the second phase of its successful Anchor Say Cheese campaign – an exclusive assortment of Anchor-‐branded desserts, a first of its kind in the market. Together with its selected bakery partners, Fonterra Food services continues to delight customers with limited-‐edition desserts created by Fonterra’s own in-‐house patisserie chefs using top quality real butter, cream cheese, milk and cream from its highly popular Anchor range.
Customers can now expect the new range of desserts at selected bakeries across the country, with the first roll out in Klang Valley at all RT Pastry branches. While the last first introduced Japanese-‐ inspired desserts with a heavy use of Anchor Cream Cheese, the new selection of desserts are more European themed and feature delicious sweet breads as well.
The desserts include Almond Rosa, a nutty almond butter sponge cake with a rich layer of cream cheese; Cheeznie, a perfect combination of cheese and chocolate with cream cheese sandwiched between two slices of decadent chocolate brownies and topped with chopped walnuts; First Love, a sweet bread with a brown sugar cream cheese in the center sprinkled with brown sugar for that added crunch, guaranteeing love at first bite and Lady Marmalade, a sweet bread with an orange cream cheese filling topped with orange candied peel.
Speaking at the launch of Anchor Say Cheese campaign at RT Pastry, Ms. Linda Tan, Head of Fonterra Food services, pointed out that the reason behind the campaign was to delight customers with Anchor’s finest range of products. Anchor, a leading brand by Fonterra, is made from the freshest dairy produce from New Zealand and in Malaysia, it is available via the Foodservices & retail channel.
“As customers are becoming more discerning, they are looking for more exclusive products to indulge in. This is our way of bringing our Anchor brand directly to the consumers in the most experiential way. Our bakery partners are highly supportive and have been long-‐term users of our Anchor products, and this will also showcase their commitment to bringing only the best to their customers,” said Ms. Linda Tan.
The timing coincides with the start of festivities in Malaysia with the Hari Raya mood still in the air and the celebratory spirit bringing people together. “Our theme for this year is “Connecting with Loved Ones” and what better way to spend time with people we love most and sweeten the celebrations than over some delicious desserts!” she added.
Each bakery partner will whip up the delicious Anchor branded desserts using the original recipes and training provided by Fonterra’s patisserie chefs, with a slight tweak to suit the unique preferences of its customers.

These exclusive Anchor’s signature creations are available at selected bakeries throughout the country from now until December 2016. Customers will also receive the limited edition Anchor spoon with every purchase of two boxes of Anchor’s signature desserts. For those residing in the Klang Valley, the desserts are available at all RT Pastry bakeries. In addition to that, these signature desserts will also be available in all participating bakeries including Bread History in Penang, The Bakers Hut in Seri Manjung, Born n Breads in Ipoh, Patisfrance and Yeast Pastry in Malacca, Veluxe Cake House in Skudai, Fung Seng in Muar, Port View Euro Bread in Kota Kinabalu, Taka in Kuching and Hot Cross Bun in Miri. The pricing for the desserts varies according to the bakeries. The bread selection is available from RM3.20 onwards per piece and the cake selection is available from RM6.90 onwards per piece.
