(SEMASA) THE ART OF TIME – Swiss Watch Gallery officially launches its third installation of Malaysia’s Premier Luxury Watch Exhibition

Swiss Watch Gallery, the premier Malaysian owned regional luxury watch retailer, presenting arguably the most comprehensive collection of the world’s luxurious, finest and iconic timepieces under one umbrella officially launched the third installation of its timepiece exhibition – THE ART OF TIME. Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Mohamed Nazri bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia officiated the Grand Launch ceremony at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur this evening. The launch was attended by key business partners, watch enthusiasts and media.

The Honourable Minister then toured the exhibition which included a Haute Horlogerie Espace featuring key highlight timepieces from the participating brands. After which, Yang Berhormat witnessed a live demonstration by Ms Rachel Jacot from Ulysse Nardin, showcasing the intricacies of miniature painting on dials. During these 11 days, set to be mesmerised by highly coveted and imaginative horological works of art from the world’s leading watch brands, which include limited and rare edition timepieces, high jewelry timepieces including grand complications and other imaginative and avant-garde pieces, many of which will be unveiled for the FIRST time in Malaysia.

Additional exhibition highlights include behind the scenes live demonstrations of ingenious watch-making craftsmanship by Miniature Painting Master Artisan, Ms Rachel Jacot from Ulysse Nardin. Ms Jacot will be showcasing the meticulous and sophisticated art of miniature painting. Guests will be able to witness first-hand the complexity of this craft and enjoy the beauty and unique character of its creations which is embodied in this presentation of fine art watchmaking. Among the line-up of brands include, Cartier, Graham, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger Le-Coultre, Tag Heuer, Ulysse Nardin, and the ultimate in luxury phones – Vertu. Making its debut at this international showcase include notable brands – Piaget, Zenith and Tudor.

Guests and visitors can immerse themselves in the breathtaking horological works of art from leading timepiece brands and experience unique insights into the fascinating artistry presented by the world’s finest master watchmaking artisans and how they have integrated traditional heritage and cutting-edge technology to making every detail of a luxury timepiece, constantly pushing the ingenuity of art. The 5100 sq ft. exhibition will showcase the brands in a luxurious and seamless shop-in-shop setting with each brand outfitting its own ‘salon’ to stay true to its DNA inspirations. It will provide a platform guests to experience the world of luxe horology and for the new generation of consumers – an introduction to the world of horology.
