Tropicana continues the tradition of its campaign’s prior success by sending you home for Raya via flights and 1000 train rides – but this year, the campaign looks further beyond sending you home to be with your family.

KUALA LUMPUR, JUNE 13: There is no reason to not balik kampung this Raya season as Tropicana Eratkan Jalinan campaign is back and it is their 4th year running this campaign to unite and strengthen connections with loved ones in order to enable them to share real moments and lasting memories together.

Tropicana Eratkan Jalinan 03The brand having won the best consumer event for Markiest Awards 2015, continues its tradition of teaming up with Era FM to offer five air tickets to bring your loved ones, be it family or friends, back from abroad. All you need to do is log on to the website www.tropicana.com.my and send in your submissions online.

This year the brand is sponsoring close to a whopping 1,000 KTM rides and will go a step further by offering rides to the East Coast on top of the routes to Padang Besar, Ipoh and Johor Bahru from Kuala Lumpur. There are no special conditions to qualify for this campaign. “All you need to do is to redeem your tickets at the KTM counter at KL Sentral Level 2 (Gate B) on June 12,” said Hemalatha Raghavan, Etika Sdn Bhd Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.

The ticket redemption starts from 10am onwards and the tickets will be given away based on first-come-first-serve basis. However, the redemption is limited to two tickets per person so that more consumers can be reunited and benefited from this program.

In addition, instead of focusing on sending family members home this year, Tropicana is also looking at giving the campaign a new dimension by broadening the idea to focus on strengthening and fostering connections with everyone. One way that this is done is by extending the platforms of the campaign further.

“I am very excited about going back to Ipoh for this Raya season. The journey to go back home can be quite costly and with these tickets, it will lessen our burden. Thank you Tropicana for providing us with tickets to go back to Ipoh for this Raya season”, said housewife Haswah Hashim, 55 years old,  one of the lucky winners of the tickets.

You can now travel home with someone who’s from your hometown and foster new connections – all in all, to make the ride home that much more enjoyable. Book your trip back home on the Grab app, between June 6 to June 19 and ensure your travelling dates are between June 25 to July 14. Beyond that, Tropicana wants you to let your loved ones or those that matter to you know you are thinking of them this Ramadhan month. As it’s a time of forgiveness during this period, whether you’d like to ease tension, re-establish an estranged relationship or simply drop someone a note to remind them that you’re thinking of them – Tropicana wants to be the enabler for you to do so. This will be a fun and great way to share some of the joy with those who are not as privileged and to strengthen as well as foster relationships with the community.
