“Flight of the Bumblebee” became a worldwide hit two decades ago and created a whirlwind of “Maksim’s piano trend”. Even during the 2 years of COVID, he still managed to hold three sold-out concerts in Taiwan in 2021 and six sold-out concerts in New Zealand and Australia tour in 2022. Makim’s insistence on music and his love for the piano has been his passion for life.
Many did not know that Maksim comes from Croatia, a beautiful little country in Europe. When growing up, Croatia was in constant war, and even under such poor circumstances, Maksim had absolute insistence on the piano. Such a strong will has led to the successful world pianist we see today – Maxim.
In addition to his admirable pianistic skills, Maxim has become the best representative of a pianist who crosses boundaries by not setting limits to his music. He has broken the boundaries of classical and popular music and has taken piano playing to a whole new level, making his concerts an immersive indulgence of the auditory and visual experience.
Maksim loves the weather and climate of Malaysia, and he loves outdoor sports. He is an Ironman triathlete who can spend multiple hours mountain hiking, swimming, and ending his day with piano practice without feeling tired and feeling energized. He finds Malaysia’s natural beauty and food to be his favorites and hopes to spend more time in nature to relax and find inspiration each time he visits.
The Plenary Hall, KLCC is looking forward to seeing you again on February 14, 2023. Let us all come together for a magical night of Maksim’s magnificent performance!
