Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 23 May 2015 – ABSTRAX today announced the arrival of its newest collaboration jersey, in collaboration with the national carrier, Malaysia Airlines (MAS). After the huge success on the first #MASterpiece #FlyingHigh jersey, ABSTRAX is back with a new away jersey to complement the existing home jersey.
The collaboration is part of the second series of the national carrier’s #STAYSTRONG social media campaign which garnered a lot of buzz among netizens around the world. The campaign started with its first post on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, #STAYSTRONG imprinted on images of its cabin crew and tech crew with accompanying tagline “Tough times do not last, tough people do”. The airline received outpouring messages of support from the public worldwide.
Abstrax Jingga CEO, Dr. Faiz I. Anuar said, “we are honored to collaborate again with Malaysia Airlines to produce the #MASterpiece Virus jersey. The latest #MASterpiece Virus is a continuation of the success of the #MASterpiece Home jersey. So far, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support and about 10,000 pcs was sold since October 1, and we anticipate that the sales of #MASterpiece Virus would be as par or not more.
Ultimately, we hope that the #MASterpiece series shirts bonds Malaysians, whom are proud to wear them since the SEA Games are around the corner.
The intimate event was also attended by sportsman, Indra Putra Mahyuddin (who modeled the #MASterpiece Virus jersey) and also the captain of the national football team #HarimauMalaya.
The event ended with a tour of the shop and Abstrax Jingga giving away personalized #FLYINGHIGH T-shirts to the attendees.
