19 August 2015 – Kuala Lumpur: Tune Talk is thrilled to announce it will team with Asia’s largest MMA promotion, ONE Championship™ (ONE) to bring combat sports fans in Malaysia a week-long extravaganza dedicated solely to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). The week, which will consist of non-stop MMA events and activities this coming October, will be a great event for fans of one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
Once again, Malaysian fight fans will get the chance to witness ONE’s unique brand of MMA in the beautiful city of Kuala Lumpur on October 9 from Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil. With the event coming hot off the heels of a succession of successful events in front of packed stadiums across Asia, ONE: TIGERS OF ASIA will once again feature the top local and international professional MMA athletes.
Yet more action awaits as MMA’s finest amateur athletes battle it out in the Malaysian Invasion Mixed Martial Arts (MIMMA) tournament Grand Finals on October 10. After months of intense training and qualification through various gruelling rounds, the top contenders will challenge the current title holders in their respective weight divisions for the chance to be crowned the new champion of the amateur league. In addition to the usual divisions, this year saw the introduction of two new categories, both ready for the coronation of their inaugural champions – the Female Catchweight and Foreign Catchweight divisions.
