Sunway City, 21 May 2017 – More than 4000 participants from Penang, Ipoh, Johor, and Klang Valley joined Sunway Property’s Race for A Better Planet 2017 cycling events in May in response to the organisation’s call to promote green living in the city. The series of cycling events, which has just concluded the final leg in Sunway City, Klang Valley today, saw 1200 cyclists gathered at Sunway GEO Avenue for Power Ride and Fun Ride since 6am for a safety briefing and warm up session led by Grit Nation Subang. 50 marshals, 100 volunteers, 35 traffic police & security forces, paramedics and ambulance were also stationed at Sunway GEO Avenue as well as along the routes to direct traffic and provide on-road assistance. Prior to this, close to 3000 participants joined cycling in Sunway City Ipoh, Sunway Property @ Anson Penang, and Sunway Iskandar Johor, earlier this month.
