Kuala Lumpur, 4 November 2015 – TNT’s Charity Hunt just got a little grittier with the addition of Peter Davis, and Saiful ‘The Vampire’ Merican. Fans will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with these fiery fighters, and compete against them in the hunt.
Saiful ‘The Vampire’ Merican has collected a number of accolades in the field of MMA, including the award of Best Fighter in Thailand in 2010, he was also ranked #1 in the World Muay Thai Association (WMA) rankings in 2009, and #2 in 2012.
Peter Davis on the other hand is well known as the face of MMA in Malaysia. Outside of the sport he is a TV host, actor, and model. He continues to promote the sport locally and host fights internationally.
“We are excited to host One Championship (ONE) fighters and I’m sure participants are keen on meeting their heroes as well. Involving the fighters may attract a different demographic to participate in the hunt and encourage the younger generation to do their part for charity,” opined Ngoh Siaw Ling, Human Resources Director of TNT Malaysia.
“It is with great joy that we are able to inspire others from different backgrounds to come together in aid of the less fortunate. Together, we can help lay out a clear and bright path ahead for our future leaders of tomorrow,” she added.
Participants of this year’s hunt will be contributing to the educational needs of more than 100 children from Shelter Home for Children, Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Yatim dan Miskin Wawasan Port Dickson and Community at Heart for the urban poor at Pangsapuri Enggang, Puchong.
A total of RM 60,000 was raised from last year’s Charity Hunt which eased the burden of tuition and transport fees of many children and families.
Joining forces with TNT this year for a good cause are DPulze Cyberjaya, Kenny Rogers Roasters, One FC, and Sunway Lagoon.
