Nong-O Gaiyanghadao is confident of his chances against Brice “The Truck” Delval at ONE: IMMORTAL TRIUMPH.

However, the latter is certain that he would return to Paris, France with the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title tightly fitted around his waist after they collide at Ho Chi Minh City’s Phu Tho Indoor Stadium on Friday, 6 September.

Delval, aware of his rival’s strength, stated, “My opponent is the World Champion of [ONE]. He’s a huge fighter, and so far he’s undefeated in this promotion.”

“He had a very big career in Thailand. He’s the four-time World Champion of Lumpinee [Stadium], World Champion of Rajadamnern [Stadium], he has fought the best athletes. It’s an honor to fight him.”

“I think his biggest assets are his back leg and his hooks. I know he’s a powerful boxer, and that it will be a very tough fight. But I have trained for this, and I’ll be ready.”

It could be a tough welcoming party to the largest martial arts organization in the world, but with an impressive 30-5 record, the young challenger is determined to prove his striking arsenal on the global stage.

Despite the huge task in front of him, the Mahmoudi Gym representative said that he is more than ready to dent Nong-O’s winning run in ONE Championship.

“I used to watch some of his fights on the internet – as I said, he has fought with the best fighters – and I can’t see a lot of weaknesses, but it depends on who he’s fighting,” the 20-year-old Algerian martial artist shared.

“I think my advantage will be my [height and reach] and my determination.”

“I have some very good coaches who gave me a game plan, so I think I’ll perform a beautiful fight. I have youth on my side, and I think this can play a big part in the result.”

“The Truck” has clearly left no stone unturned in his preparation to face a multiple-time World Champion.

But does he have what it takes to hand the Muay Thai living legend his first defeat in five ONE appearances?
